On July 23rd 2009, the U.S. Postal Service introduced
5 new stamps in their Lighthouse Series.
These are Lighthouses of the Gulf Coast:
Matagorda Island TX
Sabine Pass LA
Biloxi MS
Sand Island AL
Fort Jefferson FL

The Stamp Ceremony was in Biloxi MS on that day.  We were there to
report and take photos for Lighthouse Digest.
We also have designed our own First Day Covers which we will sell in sets of 5.

2007 Lighthouse Postage Stamps

These are the U.S. Postage stamps that were on sale
June 21st 2007.
At our Post Office in Shalimar Florida.
They were unveiled in a special ceremony honoring us.

Take a look at the first day covers we have designed:

Howard Koslow, the artist who paints the lighthouse stamps for the Post Office
used our photos for the first two stamps:
Diamond Head Hawaii and Five Finger Alaska

He used photos from our books:
"Lighthouses of the Hawaiian Islands" and "Lighthouses of Alaska".
